Most clinicians finish Introduction to Premarital Practice in two to four weeks working part-time. It is fully self-paced with 12 months of unlimited access, so you can also go slower or return to it as a reference.

Yes. My Mental Health University® has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7739. The Introduction to Premarital Practice course awards 11 CE credits and CPMS™ Specialist awards 16 CE credits on completion.

No. Step 1 (Intro) and Step 2 (Specialist) are the credentialing sequence. Every clinician does those two. Step 3 (Lead and Master tiers) is optional and exists for clinicians who want to teach other clinicians or lead the pathway itself.

Yes, twice. Once after Module 11 and once after Module 19. You record a twenty to twenty-five minute session with two role play partners, submit it with a one page session note and a signed consent form, and score yourself against the same rubric your reviewer uses.

A CPMS™ Trainer scores seven domains and you need twenty of twenty-eight to pass, with nothing below a two. One resubmission is allowed. This is what makes CPMS™ a demonstrated-competence credential rather than a certificate of completion.

Yes, with CPMS™ Specialist. The Handbook is the course text the nineteen modules are taught from, and it is where the pre and post assessments, key terms, reflections, and questionnaires live, so it comes with your enrollment rather than being bought separately.

It is not included with the $497 Introduction course. The couples' books, The Before I Do Method™ Guide and Workbook, are separate from both and are never required for certification or for your CE hours.

Once you complete Specialist, Lead, or Master, you're automatically enrolled in the $197/yr renewal, which begins exactly 12 months after your certification purchase. Seven days before each charge, you'll get a courtesy email so there are no surprises.

Your renewal keeps your CPMS™ credential active, your Premarital Counseling Directory™ listing live, your locked pricing on the pathway, and your standing access to the practitioner community, refresher training, and case consultation.

You receive the CPMS™ post-name credential, your listing goes live in the Premarital Counseling Directory™, and you get login access to the private practitioner community, the Practitioner Handbook, and the standing CE discount on the MyMHU® catalog. From there you can practice with the credential, or apply for the Lead pathway when it opens for cohort enrollment.
